OHIO: THE BIG QUESTIONS [Peter W. Schramm 10/28 03:48 PM]

Things are getting hectic, are they not? New polls, all confusing, if not contradictory, are being thrust upon us, television ads all day long, a dozen campaign mailings a day, phone calls from campaigns, etc. It's kind of tough living in a battleground state and, because of the bombardment of such information, it is easy to lose sight of what this election is about. Andrew Busch, a professor at Claremont McKenna College, lays out nicely the big questions at stake: Do we have the stomach for this fight? Are we prepared to draw the line against further erosion of the moral foundation of American society? Are we going to reward the likes of Michael Moore and George Soros and MoveOn.org? Are we aware that the next president may have more than a few appointments to the Supreme Court? In the end, because people realize these massive facts is the reason I believe Bush will not only take Ohio, but win the Electoral College handily. In the meantime, we await the arrival of Governor Arnold!
