om Nugent has over 32 years of experience in security analysis and portfolio management. He has written extensively for A.B. Laffer Associates on economics and financial markets. Presently he provides economic analysis and portfolio management for PlanMember Financial Corp. His portfolio management experience includes five years of mutual fund management with J. & W. Seligman and Co., Inc., as both a fixed income and equity portfolio manager. He has managed the trust investment departments of two regional banks as well as managing high-yield securities for a major West Coast investment manager.

Nugent has lectured in finance and economics at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J., and has had articles published in the Wall Street Journal and Investors Business Daily. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and has earned an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research.
